An Update. . .
Yesterday I had to go downtown for jury duty. . . I was not excited about that at all. I didn't know where to go or what to expect. I left in PLENTY of time and still managed to be late. Late for a school teacher is enough to cause immediate anxiety. I had printed out instructions on how to get there from mapquest (which I will NEVER use again) and they were completely wrong. . . I don't drive downtown enough to know where I am going. Every time we are down there my hubby drives. I need to pay more attention. . . Anyhow, so I get there after a frantic phone call to hubby. . . he gets me there by giving me directions over the phone. So, I'm there and it takes an additional 30 minutes to park. I was not the only one 30 minutes late. . . Lots of us walked in at that time. . . I could not believe how many people were in there. . . like thousands. . . anyways. . . so, I was assigned a week. Great, I can look forward to that in March. I will be more prepared then on how I will get there. . . So, I finish up before 11:30'ish. . . I'm thinking "Fantastic", I can actually go home and relax a little before the boys get out of school (since I am already out of school today). Nope, that's not how it happened at all!! Remember the Open House we had? Well, one of the families that was interested is really interested. They wanted to see the house yesterday at 3:30. So, I got to go home and do HOURS of cleaning to prepare the house by 3:30. . . It was a successful showing. They are still really interested and want to come next week to show their parents. It's a newly married couple. . . Yay! At least I know they're interested!! I am so ready for this weekend!! My boys are really excited about Valentine's Day! I am too :) We had planned on taking them to the Motor Bike show downtown at the Fed Ex Form . . . that fell through, we weren't able to get tickets. . . We are still going to have a fun time. We are going to the movies to see Hotel for Dogs (they've been wanting to see it) and then to dinner (An EARLY dinner to try and beat the crowd). Cole has a game tomorrow at 9:30 am, so our day will start EARLY as usual!
