My First and Second Day Back . . .

Here's how Monday went. . .
*dropped my favorite pair of earrings down the drain
*forgot to fix London's lunch. . . called Keith for reinforcement
*forgot my laptop. . . called Keith again. . . he brought it to school. . . bless him
*lunch out with teacher friends
*mom broke her finger
*took Cole to his first football practice for the season. . . he plays for the Cardinals. . . they are practicing on Monday's, Tuesday's, Thursday's, and Saturday's. . . who ever knew recreational football was so serious. . .
*on the way to Cole's football practice, London falls asleep in the car. . . that makes for a very grouchy practice to sit through. . .
Needless to say I was exhausted on Monday evening. . .

Here's how Tuesday went. . .
*registration at 7:30 to about 9:00. . . I got to meet most of my homeroom students. . . everything went well :)
*PTA spoiled the teachers with treats in the lounge :)
*lunch out with teacher friends. . .
*work in classroom . . . mine is finally finished. . . now, I can focus on other things :)

Today was a much better day than yesterday, thank goodness!
